Description

Utilizes a “break-it” mentality to improve processes and implement controls throughout the organization. Provides direction, training, and support to specialists. Acts as a role model and department mentor.

  • Utilizes advanced functionality of Microsoft Office works, SQL, VBL, or Business Objects to develop and implement automation related to risk reporting and analysis. Presents proposals and recommendations to management.
  • Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of risk reporting and analysis through data analysis to identify the areas of potential risk across Paychex.
  • Supports the MIS and Portfolio team as well as the management team by developing technical, financial and statistical reporting processes to increase productivity.
  • Retains data through development of Business Objects reporting and analysis, Access databases and Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Assists in development of business metrics to conduct trending analysis.
  • Recommends and implements enhancements in methods, procedures, and reporting to improve processes.
  • Develops tasks and monitors workload for department intern to ensure internship expectations are met.
  • Aids the development of new information channels.
  • Seeks understanding related to new and existing products and related financial risks.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships to enable efficient, effective communication.
  • Maintains security and confidentiality of proprietary information to ensure data is secure.
  • Prepares and publishes monthly reports for use by business unit and senior management.
  • Provides support to budget and forecasting processes by gathering statistical data and resources as required.
  • Utilizes queries and downloads from programs such as Access and SQL to gather information from multiple Paychex systems.
  • Ensures data integrity by performing verification procedures.
 
Position Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
