Advanced Technology Group (ATG) is currently interviewing to hire entry level consultants to join our Missoula Solutions Center. We are looking for candidates who want to work in a fast paced, competitive, and professional environment typically found in larger consulting organizations in major metropolitan areas. ATG’s Missoula Solution Center offers the best of both worlds. Consultants can live and work in Missoula, Montana, while working on high profile, mission critical managment and systems consulting for ATG’s clients around North America. Extensive training is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Our consultants are responsible for intermediate level performance in all areas related to ATG’s provision of technical and business solutions to our clients. Our customer base consists of public and private sector agencies and businesses employing diverse information management environments. Typical ATG customers are North American Service Providers, and our projects span the ‘quote to cash’ business processes (Customer Relationship Management, Quote/Order Management, Billing and Collection, Customer Care). Projects range from strategic/managerial consulting to process optimization and systems implementation.

BUSINESS PRACTICES

  • Present a professional image in conduct, attitude and attire
  • Provide expertise to clients both in the delivery of completed projects and in the implementation of improved operational methods to meet the customer's business requirements
  • Potentially serve as client representative to one or more of the company’s major client accounts.
  • Assist with development of client information management standards and evaluation of technology trends, with a focus on enhancing the operational effectiveness of the client’s business
  • Contribute to the research/preparation of responses to RFPs, ITQs and other service requisitions, specifications and contracts

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Work with Project Lead or Project Manager throughout the management of end-to-end system development life cycles of major projects
  • Provide business analysis, business area assessment, and user needs analysis for major projects
  • Provide highly technical and specialized solutions to complex IT problems

TECHNICAL

  • Provide intermediate level programming as required
  • Provide process, data and object modeling in a variety of application and database environments
  • Provide database design, development, and enhancement, as well as management and coordination of changes to existing applications
  • Provide technical architecture analysis, design, development, and enhancement
  • Maintain expertise and currency in industry leading information management technologies
  • Maintain expertise and currency on various SaaS software solutions across the Quote to Cash landscape

Qualifications - Knowledge and Skills:

  • Have a fundamental understanding of current business practices and basic knowledge of information management systems, with the drive and ability to think on their feet and build on their existing knowledge quickly in a fast paced, competitive environment.
  • Provide a confirmed working history that demonstrates excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Illustrate proficiency in both verbal and written communications.
  • Exemplify a high degree of personal integrity and interpersonal skills and abilities.
  • Prove a willingness to commit the additional time and effort necessary during periods of heavy workload in order to meet project milestones, implementation deadlines and the like.

Key Qualifications Include:

  • Application design, development and implementation experience with medium to large project
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Deliverable-oriented work ethic
  • Current with industry development methodologies, technologies and standards
  • Project management capabilities utilizing the full systems development life cycle, including working capability with MS Project and other project tools
  • Possess a sound working knowledge of, and hands on experience with either Project Management or Business/Systems Analysis, or the technical skills required by the client.
  • Possesses the ability to work independently and in teams with a thorough knowledge and understanding of various operating systems and commonly used software applications, diagnostic tools and network utilities

 

Consultants will need to reside in Missoula, Montana. Some travel to client locations, partner providers, and training courses will be required.

ATG will provide significant training in several key areas:

  1. Understanding Service Providers and the challenges they face
  2. Understanding Quote to Cash processes and how they drive Service Provider performance
  3. Project Essentials
    1. PMP Certification
    2. Business Requirements writing
    3. Testing/Development methodologies
    4. Select SaaS Software Product Training 

Experience, Education & Training:

  • Minimum of an undergraduate degree or recognized technical diploma in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
  • Demonstrable experience at an intermediate level in the information management and systems environment is valued.
  • 1-3 years professional experience preferred.
