Lead Member Service Representative 

Description

Location: North Patterson Financial Center

This individual will provide customer service to members by receiving and paying out monies, processing other transactions and keeping accurate records of all activity.  This individual will discuss credit union products and services and will assist members in determining which products best meet their needs.  This individual should be flexible with before and after hours due to CDM responsibilities.  This individual coaches other staff members with cross-selling to meet quarterly goals.This position requires individual to provide leadership and supervision for MSRs, which includes organizing and planning workflow.  The Lead MSR  will be responsible to train new MSRs and provide on-going training for MSR staff as needed.

 
Position Requirements

 1.   Two to three years teller experience.
 2.   One year Focus/Miser experience.
 3.   In-depth knowledge of AFCU products
 4.   Meets balancing standards consistently (not in any exception level).
 5.   Ability to handle vault/multiple CDM responsibilities.
 6.   Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
 7.   Demonstrated organization and planning skills.
 8.   Ability to supervise other MSRs and handle broad scope of responsibilities.
 9.   Excellent customer service skills.
10.  Excellent interpersonal skills.
11.  Ability to handle conflict in a professional manner.
12.  Ability to diffuse anger quickly and effectively.
13.  Demonstrated ability to train others.
