As a leader in providing human resource management software and payroll services to companies across North America, Ascentis offers you the opportunity to directly experience how software solutions make an impact on business through information management as well as user efficiency. As an intern, you will work directly with a group of seasoned Applications and Systems Engineers. You will learn how to apply your software development skills to real life applications. Your responsibilities would include one or more of the following: • Evaluate new tools and technology and build prototypes for use within the Ascentis suite of applications • Develop tools for use by the Ascentis Operations team to better monitor and manage the applications • Write functional and technical specifications and participate in design sessions • Participate in UX design and develop rich user interfaces for both PC and mobile users • Develop modules and features for the application suite using some of the latest technology   Position Requirements Enrolled in undergraduate or post-graduate program focusing on CIS, MIS leading to a degree in June 2015 or graduated within last 12 months A cumulative GPA of 3.2 and above is preferred.
