Banquets Sous Chef 

Description

Under the direct instruction of the Banquets Kitchen Manager, to supervise staff in all kitchen operations, production cooks, line cooks, and prep cooks. Manage all aspects of daily operational tasks, employee issues, and Banquets food production.

 
Position Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent; Post secondary education or Culinary program/college is not required but preferred; ACF certification levels C.C.C.,C.S.C., C.E.C., are acceptable in lieu of culinary college. Previous culinary management (kitchen) experience (2 to 3 years); prior team management experience (kitchen preferred but not mandatory); Possess advanced knife skills; Ability to prioritize, organize, multi-task, and think/perform under extreme pressure; people and time management skills; previous casino restaurant experience. Valid (current) Serve-safe® certification (issued by the National Restaurant Association)
