Position Overview: Are you passionate about baking and ready to thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment? We are seeking a dedicated Baker to join our team. In this role, you’ll be hands-on in producing a wide variety of high-volume, high-quality baked goods, including breads, pastries, and cookies.
What you’ll be doing:
- Making individual baked goods like Danish, cinnamon rolls, coffeecakes, and nut rolls, with various doughs and fillings.
- Assisting in the production of hand-rolled pretzel and filled donuts.
- Using a reversible sheeter to cut out a variety of specialty cookies, such as gingerbread and shortbread.
- Ensuring baked goods meet our high standards for quality, weight, appearance, and size.
- Maintaining an organized and clean workspace.
We’re looking for:
- A passion for baking and creating exceptional products.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and presentation skills.
- Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
- Reliability to consistently work a set schedule.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required; previous scratch bakery experience or baking/pastry education is a plus, but not necessary.
- Ability to stand and actively move throughout your shift, as well as the ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working around varying temperatures, including heat from ovens and cold from coolers/freezers.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive Pay: $14-$16/hour, based on experience

- Work-Life Balance: Full-time, 40 hours/week. Standard hours of 4:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday).
