Description

Basic Purpose

Responsible for leading the development of engaging digital assets (particularly photography and videography) for Social Media, E-Commerce, Customer Marketing and Digital Marketing consistent with Brand strategy.

The Digital Designer will be responsible for developing digital assets that resonate with consumers along their path to purchase. Digital asset development will include the following in pre-production, production and post-production stages: Product photography, product lifestyle photography, GIFs, product videography and product lifestyle videography. Assets beyond this may require the Visual Designer to work with freelancers outside the organization.

The Digital l Designer will work with the Category Leaders, Marketing, Sales, Digital and E-Commerce teams. This person will also work directly with the brand teams on development of creative assets.

The Digital Designer will advise on the creative development process from conception, production through to final deployment. This person will also guide the brand teams on best practices in graphic design, videography and animation. She, he or they will also provide consult to the brand teams on the creative development process from conception, production through to final deployment.

Must have a comprehensive understanding of industry standard best practices.

Pricipal Accountabilities

  • Work with multiple cross functional teams to create stunning visual interpretations of the brand strategy and objectives.
  • Design engaging graphic assets for Social Media (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Tik Tok) according to the social media calendar.
  • Manage creative workflow from start to finish. Responsible for concepting, pre-production production and post-production.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in crafting visual stories that resonate with all stakeholders.
  • Maintains a high sensitivity to trends in social media, digital marketing and pop-culture as it relates to TMC brands and communicate these formally and informally with all cross-functional teams

  • Entrepreneurial instincts with a keen ability to see opportunities through the eyes of the consumer.
  • Organizational skills, self-motivated, marketing skills, computer abilities, design skills, high level of imagination and creativity, communication skills
  • Technical skills using software for digital graphic design, website development and video production.
  • Proficient in all phases of video production, from pre-production to final deployment, including creation of pre-production documents and tracking of video performance after production has been completed and in conjunction with Social Media team.
  • Ability to juggle priorities and meet numerous deadlines.
  • The ideal candidate would be highly creative, communicative, and possess the ability to present work and recommendations to brand teams and management visually in a comprehensive and concise manner.
  • Experience with creating visually appealing e-mail content and design that enhances user engagement and drives conversions. Familiarity of content creation within Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus. 

Other Information

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Graphic Design, Web Development, Visual Communications)
  • Personal use and understanding of social media communication and connectivity
  • An excellent creative portfolio demonstrating multidisciplinary design efforts
  • Strong familiarity with web design, visual hierarchy, and color theory
  • Experience in web development is a plus
  • Must see digital design portfolio, submit link along with resume

Computer / technical skills:

  • Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, InDesign) or Apple Creative apps.
  • Master of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects CC workflows
