Sales Executive

Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000

The Opportunity
The Sales Executive is a Client-facing role, with significant relationship management skills required. This position is high profile in the industry which pursues opportunities based upon client relationships. Responsible for setting pricing levels, negotiating contracts, involvement with strategic planning and leading the sales effort in association market sectors. This position is chiefly responsible for developing and obtaining new accounts.
Essential functions
· Sales Executive – Selling and developing new clients $1mm - $3mm annually within primarily Association sector.
· Cultivates and identifies new potential customers and developing a sale and marketing plan to attract and ultimately win new clients.
· Demonstrates products or services and aids in the best application of product or services
· The Sales Executive is the first point of contact for large accounts
· Keeps company system of record (CRM / ERP) up to date for all assigned accounts to facilitate all downstream reports
· Interprets accounts, trends and records to management
· Monitors competition by gathering information on pricing, products, new products,
· Recommends changes in products and service based on customer needs
· Works with department leadership to set account pricing strategy in alignment with company profitability goals
· Responsible for all account collection efforts with Finance Team
· Other duties as assigned by Regional Vice President of Sales.
Qualifications:
· Knowledge of event and/or entertainment technology sales and marketing.
· Good knowledge of the function and capability of event and entertainment technology equipment.
· Good knowledge of current trends and advancements in event and entertainment technology and the direction of equipment development.
· Good knowledge of common computer productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office.
· Excellent sales presentation skills; excellent closing skills
· Good negotiation skills: the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously within strict deadlines.
· Strong organizational skills; Customer Service orientation; Tact; Professionalism.
Required education and experience
· Completion of four years of post-secondary education from an accredited institution of higher learning with a concentration in business administration, hospitality management, operations management or related entertainment technology fields in courage.
· 3+ years of experience in sales, business development or project coordination in a market appropriate to the position.
