When passion and impact come together, an institution becomes more than a place to work.
As many of our teachers and staff will tell you, Flint Hill is a place where they are challenged and inspired, and yet it still feels like home.
At Flint Hill, we believe in redefining what educational excellence looks like. Always curious, every day, we ask questions like, “Imagine if?” and “What’s possible?” And we encourage our students to do the same.
Flint Hill’s fundraising approach is guided by a deep respect for donors that seeks to align School needs with donor interests. Since the School’s reorganization in 1990, Flint Hill has appropriately focused its fundraising efforts on supporting annual operations and capital projects including the completion of the Momentum Campaign in 2019 with donors contributing over 19 million dollars to build the award-winning Peterson Middle School. As the School and the fundraising strategy mature, this new role is being established and the Director of Advancement Systems and Operations's responsibility is to develop and lead the strategy to best leverage advancement-related technology and is the perfect opportunity for a strategist who leads with curiosity and would enjoy playing a critical role in creating best practices for independent school advancement technology.
The Advancement team members are highly experienced, collaborative, engaged, optimistic, genuine, down-to-earth, energized by trying new approaches, and excited for this new colleague to play a key role in our collective success. The team’s high retention has created deep community connections and a track record of success. With an unwavering commitment to the School’s mission, vision, and core values of the school, the Flint Hill Statement of Institutional Equity and Inclusion and the Portrait of the Flint Hill Student, the Advancement team knows and appreciates the importance of a positive work culture, which for us includes a great deal of humor and deep regard for one another.
The Director of Advancement Systems and Operations is a strategic member of a 10-person team, reports to the Director of the Flint Hill Fund, supervises the Director of Database and Donor Services, and is a full-time, 12-month, benefits-eligible staff position.
