Position Commercial Fleet Store Manager  
Description

Purpose: Lead oil operations processes and procedures throughout the organization. Will serve as subject matter expert on oil operations and conduct training and knowledge transfer to other areas of the organization. Ensure adherence to all compliance matters through a structured audit program.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor oil and lubricant operations performance at all facilities throughout the organization, including coaching safe operational practices and procedures.
  • Increase productivity and reduce expenses on oil and lubricant-related operational activity.
  • Lead quality control efforts related to oil and lubricant inventory; cleanliness, condition, and operation of facilities; and equipment throughout the organization.
  • Conduct regular site audits and work with site managers to ensure all documentation is processed timely and accurately.
  • Report observed truck and vehicle maintenance issues to the Transportation Manager for proper disposition.
  • Create, implement, and maintain all policies and procedures.
  • Establish and communicate performance metrics.
  • Maintain product batch logs and adhere to chain of custody requirements.
  • Coach and train team members throughout the organization to strengthen core knowledge of oil operations.
  • Monitor and implement health, safety and regulations compliance related to oil operations throughout the organization.
  • Communicate with Risk Management consultants as needed on issues or for classification on OSHA regulations.
  • Required to attend scheduled operations training conducted by DOT and Risk Management consultants.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule to ensure operational needs are met.

 

 
Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the oil / lubricant industry, preferably in operations
  • Willing to travel within Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana (limited overnights)
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
