Share Email Opening Title Professional Water Resources Engineer  Description Alliant Engineering, Inc., an established and client-focused design firm has an exceptional opportunity available for a Professional Water Resources Engineer to work in our Minneapolis office. Your role: You will play a lead role in Alliant's water resources group delivering roadway drainage systems on complex highway-heavy and local roadway projects. You will have the opportunity to work closely with MnDOT and contractors on high profile, local Design-Build (DB), Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC), and traditional design projects. As a Professional Water Resources Engineer, you will utilize your technical expertise to design hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling, develop roadway drainage and water treatment systems, design erosion control and sediment management BMPs, coordinate with and obtain agency permitting, and perform bridge and culvert hydraulic analysis. Other activities will include resolving design issues with proactive and innovative solutions, checking design work per Alliant's Design Quality Management Plan, and engaging in professional development activities to grow your client network.
