Summary:
In a fast-paced environment where great guest service is essential, how do we ensure our best guests are happy with our service? As a Casino Ambassador, you will have a genuine passion for guest service, extraordinary organization and time management skills, and the ability to work well in a high-performing team. The Casino Ambassador is responsible for high-worth player services. The Casino Ambassador supports appointment programs and events aimed at attracting our best players as well as managing relationships and contact strategies for qualified players. While executing the job duties listed below, the Casino Ambassador will work with the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards always.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Strong computer skills including an effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills, and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to organize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Maintain discretion in handling of confidential information
- Interact with guests and team members at all levels of the organization in a professional manner
- Make sound decisions based on critical thinking and objective reasoning
- Maintain an efficient schedule and meet deadlines for assigned projects and tasks in a professional manner
- Experience with patron management or contact management software programs
- Obtain and maintain a gaming license from the Fort Sill Apache Gaming Commission
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field
- One year of related experience in marketing, sales, or customer service role
- Working knowledge of the gaming industry and laws and regulations governing gaming operations
Essential Job Functions
- Support the execution of marketing promotions and programs for invited and qualified players
- Accurately monitor player behavior and activity through casino patron management and/or reporting systems.
- Resolve issues and incidents involving high-worth players in a manner that delivers guest satisfaction while protecting the interests of Apache Casino Hotel.
- Prioritize outreach efforts and contact management strategies in order to help generate trips and activate redemptions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge about gaming products, promotions, operational changes, and other factors that may affect high-worth player experience.
- Interact with team members from gaming departments to identify potential high-worth players and resolve issues affecting high-worth players.
- Strive to maintain a consistently positive and professional demeanor while interacting with guests and team members throughout the organization.
- Provide feedback to management and leadership team on high-worth guest preferences, sentiments, and identified opportunities to improve overall guest experience.
- Perform all job duties in full compliance of all Apache Casino Hotel’s internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support Apache Casino Hotel achieve its objectives.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned by reporting supervisor
- Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Ability to work irregular hours, at times, including weekends and holidays
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/casino industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to meet the business needs of Apache Casino Hotel - days, evenings, graveyards, holidays and/or weekends. We are busiest during weekends and holidays, events and peak seasons as they occur. There is a reasonable expectation you will be scheduled on duty and/or “on-call” during any of these times.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The physical demands and work environment characteristics described are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential job functions.
While performing job duties the team member may occasionally sit, and uses hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The team member may be required to stand for prolonged periods in confined spaces, walk, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The team member may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing job duties the team member is regularly exposed to risks associated with travel between buildings and back and forth to other areas as may be required due to business demands. The team member is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, including second-hand environmental smoke. The noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate, and there are fluctuations in lighting due to flashing lights from slot machines and band lighting.
At a minimum, the selected candidate will be required to pass a background check and drug-screening test, and obtain a gaming license.
