Apache Casino Hotel is known as one of the premier and friendliest gaming properties in Southwest Oklahoma. Since it's opening in 1999, the property has seen continual growth in both gaming and non-gaming assets. The property currently offers over 860 slot machines, 9 table games, a luxurious 132 room hotel with 225 occupancy banquet space, two delicious restaurants, coffee shop and a convenience store.

The Apache Markets are full service convenience stores. We have 2 locations: Lawton, Oklahoma and Anadarko, Oklahoma.




Apache Homelands is a full service casual dining restaurant and smoke shop in Deming, New Mexico.

Description

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of retail store experience that includes strong customer service orientation, handling and counting large amounts of cash, utilizing currency and coin counters, and working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
  • Skills and abilities to work with personal computers, point of sale systems, safety equipment, etc.
  • Knowledgeable in sanitation, guest service, cash control policies, practices and protocols
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Essential Functions

  • Portray a positive attitude under all circumstances, understand and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel and live the mission of providing exceptional service at all times.
  • Assist in the following:
    • Control of day-to-day processes in the store such as display of goods, allotting duties to the team members and managing shift numbers, supervising, training new team members, etc.
    • Product inventory reorder based on pre-set threshold levels
    • Advertising; and setup and organizing sales and promotional displays as instructed by the C-Store Director
    • Forecast of future budgeting and staffing needs based upon information supplied. Understand and implement departmental objectives, standards, guidelines and budgets to maximize the revenues at the facility level
    • creation of daily, monthly and quarterly sales revenue reports through Excel spreadsheets and various revenue reporting systems at facility level for reporting P/L for the C-Store
    • forecast of future sales based on industry, market, and seasonal promotions at a facility level to generate growth for the C-Store
    • management of team member development, and job performance including but not limited to team member scheduling, annual evaluations, team member development, and performance management
  • Assume a role of authority as necessary; set an example for team members, delegate responsibility and empower team members to make decisions; provide constructive feedback
  • Responsible for all financial transactions at the C-Store
  • Help in the design of policies and strategies which will attract customers and increase profits
  • Work effectively with peers, team members, and regulatory agency personnel
  • Attendance at monthly strategic planning meeting
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned
  • Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program.
  • Regular attendance is required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands and work environment characteristics described are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential job functions.

While performing job duties the team member stands for prolonged periods, and uses hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The team member also sits, walks, climbs or balances, and stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. The team member must occasionally lift and move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
