Share Email Opening Title Scheduling Coordinator  Full-Time/Part-Time Part-Time   Shift Days   Description This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate scheduling of employees, while meeting patient/client needs. Work Schedule - Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as well as on call as scheduled and hours necessary to cover home health aide and homemaker shifts. The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to the following: Ensures the efficient delivery of private duty, assisted living and/or staff relief home health aide and homemaker services while at a minimum adhering to state and federal laws, state and federal rules, accrediting body standards, accepted discipline practices, ethical standards, agency policies and procedures, the agency's mission and values, the agency's code of conduct, and business decorum. Accurately schedules employees to ensure client needs are met while assuring there are no conflicts with any known employee availability. Participation in the orientation of new employees. Participates in weekend and weekday on-call rotation. Assists with receiving and responding to calls. Communicates significant events and other data necessary for timely and accurate decision-making to the appropriate individuals. Represents the Agency in a professional manner.   Position Requirements REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED. Certified to practice as a Nurse Assistant in the State of Illinois.   Nurse aide experience within the last twenty-four (24) months. Valid State of Illinois Driver's License. Vehicle Insurance.    PREFERRED: Applicant pursuing a degree in nursing. Previous experience in a home health setting.
