Title

Quality Engineer 

Description • Supervise & provide leadership for the Quality technicians
• Assure Quality Requirements are followed
• Monitor Process Containment activities
• Coordinate non-conforming material control system.
• Analyze and report scrap, FTQ, internal Quality metrics, etc.
• Monitor Special Builds / PTRs.
• Analyze data and implement corrective action plans
• Provide direction for successive verifications, visual and electrical testing
• Report Quality performance
• Oral and Written communication with appropriate Inteva organizations
• Maintain and update Control Plan, and Quality Alert System
• Identify Quality Related Problems for Investigation and Follow up
• Evaluate alarm chart process & react accordingly
• Coordinate calibration
• Coordinate gage R&R studies
• Perform regular measurements of Cockpits
• Manage the Quality Management System
• Control Quality Manuals for NKC
• Serve as NKC’s primary contact and liaison to external auditors
• Perform system audits
• Training database management
• Support operator certification
• Ensure the ongoing implementation of the Quality System throughout the plant
• Perform Cockpit measurements
• Ensure timely calibration & verification of all applicable equipment
• Perform SPC measurements
• Perform all data collection for all Problem Solving issues
 
Position Requirements REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of customer’s quality system requirements
- Knowledge of TS certification requirements.
- Problem solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customer.
PREFERRED:
- Knowledge of cockpit assembly
- Internal Auditor certified
- Knowledge of CMM operation and programming
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s required, engineering degree preferred.
