Share Email Opening Title Cook  Description The Richmond Behavioral Health Authority has tow part time openings for COOKS and COOK/PORTERS to perform intermediate semiskilled work preparing and serving meals and maintaining the kitchen at the RBHA North Campus, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the assigned departmental supervisor. Job Duties: Prepares and cooks meats, vegetables and other foods in accordance with menu. Operates standard cooking equipment such as ranges, mixers, food choppers, deep fryers and refrigerators. Serves meals to clients. Cleans kitchen and equipment, washes dishes; performs general cleaning duties as needed. Receives and stocks food supplies; maintains sanitary standards. Performs related tasks as required.     Position Requirements General knowledge of materials and methods used in preparing meats, breads and other foods on a large scale and of the use and care of utensils and equipment; general knowledge of food values and nutrition; skill in cutting and carving meat; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates.
