SUMMARY:

Open Door Community Health Centers is looking for a provider recruiter located within the Pacific Time Zone. This position is fully remote.

Open Door Community Health Centers are community based health centers with clinics located in rural Humboldt County. Open Door focuses on employee well-being and offers free monthly online therapy for employees, interactive training, educational opportunities and hosts several employee appreciation events throughout the year. The Provider Recruiter role is a key position influencing all departments within Open Door Community Health Centers (ODCHC) by leading the full life cycle of recruitment including employment branding, candidate sourcing, candidate screening, and facilitating the hiring of the most qualified provider applicants for medical, dental, and behavioral health. Overall, the Provider Recruiter will develop rich relationships with diverse leaders and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with supervisors and senior leadership to identify current and expected staffing needs.
  • Plan and implement recruiting strategies based on intake sessions, qualifications and job descriptions for anticipated vacancies.
  • Work with the Communications Department to maintain an attractive and up to date provider career page, LinkedIn profile, and other social media marketing.
  • Develop and post positions and advertisements on specialty and general job boards, Indeed, LinkedIn, and other online career pages.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, local employment agencies, and other career development forums. Represent ODCHC at Job Fairs, Career Fairs, and other community and national events.
  • Negotiates and manages recruitment contracts as appropriate.
  • Meets Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) recruitment initiatives at the direction of Manager, of Provider Recruitment & Retention.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system, and candidate relationship management system with expertise.
  • Conduct reference checks.
  • Provide periodic summary reports of recruitment activities.
  • Public speaking and presentations to small groups will be expected.
  • Cross cover other Provider Recruitment & Retention Department roles as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as designated by supervisor.

  • Ability to exercise balanced judgment in evaluating candidates and making recommendations.
  • Ability to handles highly sensitive and confidential information appropriately. .
  • Strong computer skills with specific aptitude in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed to for site visits and conferences

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Five years of experience in a similar role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Physician/Provider Recruitment Professional, AAPPR preferred.
  • Experience with ATS preferred.
  • Strong technical competencies using various tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other online recruiting tools, preferred.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

 

SUPERVISION AND SUPPORT: The Provider Recruiter reports directly to the Manager of Provider Recruitment and Retention and is an integral member of the Provider Recruitment team alongside many other departments and clinic leadership to support recruitment and retention of providers.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This is largely an office-based position. The physical requirements described are representative of those needed to successfully perform the essential duties of the position. Hiring Range $78,168.31 to $92,788.80
