SUMMARY: The Senior Recruiter plays a vital role within Open Door Community Health Centers (ODCHC) by developing and implementing recruitment strategy for all non-provider positions. Through collaboration with a diverse group of ODCHC leadership they will be responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment, including employment branding, candidate sourcing, ATS management & compliance, social media, job postings, training, reporting, and serves as a hiring manager liaison.

NOTE: This position is not comission-based. The work may be done remotely but individual shouldreside within California. An ideal candidate will be familar with Humboldt County, CA.

 

Position Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Full life cycle recruiting from sourcing through onboarding support.
  • Writes creative job postings that align with our mission and values, attracts purpose driven applicants by placing job advertisements on applicable job boards, and posts on social media and community forums.
  • Sources candidates using LinkedIn, Indeed, and other social media recruitment platforms.
  • Coordinates with the Communications Department on employment branding strategy and content development at the direction of Vice President (VP) HR.
  • Works directly with leadership on hard-to-fill positions developing and implementing successful strategy.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, technical schools, and other appropriate employment programs, developing strong relationships resulting in local talent pipeline of candidates.
  • Leads and manages ATS administration including implementation, workflows, process improvement, reporting, and data integrity.
  • Develops and manages Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) recruitment initiatives at the direction of VP HR.
  • Develops trusting relationships with hiring managers at all levels of the organization.
  • Maintains legal and compliant application, interview, and assessment process by understanding current federal and state regulations and trains hiring managers as appropriate.
  • Works with HR team on partnership with Third-Party Recruiting.
  • Negotiates and manages recruitment contracts as appropriate.
  • Provides relevant recruitment metrics and dashboards as requested.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as designated by supervisor.

  • Ability to effectively represent ODCHC’s interests in the community and maintain effective working relationships among coworkers, public, private, and professional groups.
  • Excellent computer skills with specific aptitude in Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Adheres to ODCHC’s policies and procedures.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of recruitment experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Healthcare preferred.
  • Expert in Indeed and LinkedIn sourcing and job posting management preferred.
  • Experienced in sourcing local talent in remote rural communities.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

 

SUPERVISION AND SUPPORT: Reports directly to the VP of Human Resources & Workforce Development and is an integral part of the Human Resources and Provider Recruitment teams.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This is largely an office-based position. The physical requirements described are representative of those needed to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.
