Oversees Indiana and Ohio Region Pay Range: $60,000-$70,000
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Human Resources Director will work with the CHRO to strategically plan HR initiatives that will benefit the company and encourage more efficient and beneficial work from employees. The Human Resource Director will be directly responsible for and lead the organization as it relates to compensation, benefits, human resource data analytics, policy and process development, and training.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Guide the application of regulations and laws, (e.g. FLSA, COBRA, ADA, ADEA, Pay Equity, FMLA, etc)
- Plans and organizes all activities of Compensation and Training.
- Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures incompliance with Indiana and Ohio state law
- Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars.
- Evaluates reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
- Leads team of HRBP's on best practices in all areas of employee relations and recruiting
- Assumes other duties as assigned by the CHRO.
