POSITION SUMMARY: The Staffing Specialist will support the Regional Human Resource teams in talent development, outreach, recruiting, selection, and applicant tracking. This position will develop recruiting strategies that generate a pipeline of qualified candidates.
REPORTS TO: Human Resources Director
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports Regional HR teams with recruiting; applicant screening, job postings, advertising, marketing, school/career fairs, interview scheduling, employment screenings
- Oversees company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Partners with HRBP’s to fill talent needs across the organization.
- Oversees outreach programs and acts as a liaison between Midwest Eye and local Universities.
- Maintains talent data including job description development and maintenance, EEO and all required documentation and reporting.
- Responsible for maintaining all requisitions and tracking applicant traffic, length of posting, and the candidate process pipeline.
- Works with Director to identify and address issues and trends in relation to turnover and job openings.
- Performs other related duties as required by Director.
