SUMMARY:
The Family Medicine Residency Program was accredited in 2017 and provides full spectrum, rural family medicine through a clinic first model offering continuity clinic from the start. The program is unopposed, and is a collaboration between our communitys only Trauma III designated hospital, St. Joseph, and the area's largest outpatient primary care provider, Open Door Community Health Centers (FQHC). Open DoorCommunity Health Centers offersmany special programs including Obstetrics and Teen Services, Homeless outreach van, HIV/Hep-C Program, Integrative Wellness Center, Transgender Services, MAT Programs, and a Dental and NP residency program. St. Joseph Hospitalis a 138 bed full-service acute care facility that offers cardiac surgery and interventional Cath Lab, fully accreditedCancer Program with infusion center, 64-slice CT, MRI, PET, PET/CT, Stereotactic Radio Surgery, High Dose Rate Brachytherapy,Childbirth Center with theonly Level II NICU on the North Coast, and a 24/7 ERwith Level III Trauma designation and more.

ESSENTIAL EXPECTATIONS:
- Clinical activity: minimum of 0.4 FTE working at ODCHC clinic
- Precepting activity: minimum of 0.3 FTE precepting residents in their continuity clinic
- Administrative time: 0.3 FTE for residency program. Time is to be used for core faculty duties as noted above.
