Primary store-level sales person to large accounts like supermarkets. Has multiple accounts which are visited daily during the week. Orders product in advance to be delivered by another employee to the store within 48 hours. Responsible for ongoing rotation and stocking of product on the shelves and displays, and in coolers and vending equipment, from the store's backroom. Builds displays and sets up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners. Has little authorization over pricing as most is done through chain-wide deals. Has frequent interaction with store management.
•Develop all assigned accounts relative to sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation, and customer service
•Solicit new business to increase volume and new package distribution within the area boundaries
•Sell and execute promotions, solicit placement of equipment and sell sufficient product inventory
•Utilize point-of-purchase materials to stimulate sales
•Must maintain and increase shelf facings, clean shelving and rotate product
•Provide excellent service to assigned accounts; create and maintain goodwill with all customers
•Merchandise product sections and build displays to stimulate sales
•Complete required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner maintaining legibility
Position Requirements
• Must be 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license
• No more than one moving violation (anything other than parking) within the past 12 months
• Must be able to lift/carry 45-50 lbs. frequently for 8-10 hours a day
• Must be able to push/pull 50-250 lbs.
• Must be able to perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and squatting
• Must be able to perform frequent reaching over shoulder, waist level, and from the floor
• May require pre-employment physical capability evaluation
