The position will be somewhere between 35-40 hours a week Monday-Saturday. Pay rate will be $16-$18/hr depending on experience. Essential Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities Create a patient-centered environment Room patients for well visits and sick visits Assist the Physicians with routine clinical exams and procedures, labwork, hearing/vision screens, vitals, faxing, keeping patient information updated, preparing exam rooms, etc Accompany assigned provider into exam rooms Listen to the provider and patient's conversation Based on provider's conversation with patient, document: Chief complaint and reason for visit History of present illness along with associated symptoms, attempted treatments, factors that improve condition, factors that make condition worse Past family, medical (including surgical) and social history Review of systems Physical exam (when allowed by provider) Complete the provider's note under direction of the provider Enter in diagnosis code when dictated by provider Provide care in a patient-centered manner Attend medical home meetings Demonstrate excellence in both internal and external customer service Participate in pre-visit planning Other duties as assigned Minimum Experience and Licensure Requirements High school degree or equivalent required Excellent communication and listening skills Weekend and evening availability required Attention to detail Ability to perform in fast-paced environment Sense of discretion and confidentiality Pediatric experience preferred   Position Requirements Minimum Experience and Licensure Requirements High school degree or equivalent required Pediatric experience preferred   Location Orangetown Pediatrics   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Days   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Req Number MED-19-00136   Number of Openings 1   This position is currently not accepting applications.
