This motivated individual will be a member of the sales team, working directly with both our outside sales and inside account management teams in analyzing a client’s business needs and developing the perfect technology solution.  

This individual must have the ability to influence and capture the interest of key business stake holders, have exceptional communication, writing and presentation skills, be an innovative problem solver, while maintaining a broad set of technology skills.  The ideal candidate will have broad experience in support of or have been a part of sales team, and approximately ten years of technology experience with servers, routing, switching, security, Microsoft operating systems and server applications, and messaging. 

The Sales Engineer’s responsibilities include:
-	Assessments: During the beginning of every engagement, Lloyd Group performs a complete assessment of a client’s business and network.  The Sales Engineer combines the understanding of the clients business with technical understanding of the network and creates a roadmap which will clearly detail for our clients all the necessary technology implementations required to alleviate plans and grow their business. The Solutions Manager will attend important client and prospective client meetings in support of the assessment process.

-	Project Design: The Sales Engineer will handle all aspects of creating technology planning for our clients, including defining the project task list, hardware components and software components.  The Sales Engineer will also provide proof of concept demonstrations as required to clients in order to complete the sale.

-	Product and Offerings Knowledge: The Sales Engineer serves as the lead technology expert for our sales team.  This individual will be the go to person for all technology questions by the sales team, for educational purposes and for the completion of a sale.

-	Research and Product Development: The Sales Engineer will be a member of Lloyd Group’s Research and Product Development team, comprised of key individuals within the sales and operations departments.  This team’s goal is to continue to develop solutions which will benefit our client’s businesses.  Recently developed solutions include Hosted Servers, Automated Internet Failover, and Managed Endpoint Security.
