ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·Driving vehicles to established stops
·Checking out materials to customers and receiving returned materials
·Maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly circulation statistics
·Shelving and securing materials in vehicle
·Assisting customers in boarding and leaving vehicle
·Assisting with department programming as needed, including transporting customers to and from library programs
·Assisting in packing and carrying books and other library materials
·Delivering materials directly to and picking materials up from customers in their homes
·Keeping the exterior of the vehicle clean, including windshield
·Maintaining vehicle in safe working condition and reporting operational problems to supervisor; filling with gas, oil and other fluids
·Remaining with vehicle in case of breakdown and making sure that vehicles are returned to designated service points

·Performing various other duties as assigned
