The Business Development Specialist is an entry level position appropriate for a recent business graduate or experienced Sales and Marketing person interested in a challenging career path with a growing software company. The Business Development Specialist works in a team environment with the VP of Business Development, Account Executives and Solution Specialists.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct research of market development
• Target new market opportunities,
• Execute business to business proactive outreach to key contacts in targeted accounts within identified markets to generate awareness and interest in our software solution , providing a clear, compelling and articulate explanation of our business value to prospective clients
• Prepare proposals and presentations
• Generate qualified leads to the Account Executive
• Assist with managing prospects through the sales cycle
• Communicate new product developments to prospective clients
• Manage existing customer activities such as quotes for additional products and services, demonstrations, and communication
• Maintain and add information to our company's CRM database of opportunities, quote and prospects
