A Boiler Operator will:
• Maintain the necessary amount of steam pressure and volume to support production requirements;
• Make decisions on changing, starting up, or shutting down boilers;
• Analyze and record instrument readings, complete control charts, operating logs, and hot work permits as required;
• Complete and document the completion of assigned preventative maintenance tasks in a timely manner;
• Identify and report equipment that requires maintenance;
• Detect, log, and repair malfunctions in boiler equipment;
• Complete or assist with maintenance of the boilers as required;
• Receive verbal and written operating status from previous Boiler Operator at start of shift;
• Advise incoming Boiler Operator of boiler operating status both verbally and in writing at end of shift;
• Attend either 6:30am, 2:30pm or 10:30pm Maintenance Team Daily Meetings; and,
• Notify, in a timely manner, the Plant Engineer or Health, Safety & Environmental Manager of boiler problems that could effect emissions to the atmosphere or production output.

Maintenance Technician (Loc: 102 - Plant 2)

With limited supervision, the Maintenance Technician performs intermediate scheduled, unscheduled and emergency tasks on all electromechanical equipment in designated areas in order to minimize down time and to meet all quality and productivity standards. The Tech also completes tasks in a timely fashion in accordance with published schedules. Primary functions focus on maintenance of production equipment and/or facilities and support.

Duties:

Demonstrates the proper operation of all designated equipment
Diagnose, reports, and repairs sub-standard equipment by troubleshooting to the component or board level
Prepares for use, performs operational checks, inspects and completes routine repairs and major overhauls with little or no immediate supervision
Requests, withdraws from inventory, and replaces defective or worn parts and makes all necessary adjustments for the proper operation of the equipment
Demonstrates the ability to prevent equipment down time through observation, communications with production staff and proactive problem solving
Assists with some on-the-job training on designated equipment, and explains how a task is performed or accomplished
Properly communicates and documents all work performed in MP2, in compliance with work order process guidelines
Complies with all applicable Best Practices, Maintenance Policies, and building codes
Expends the majority of effort and time on the designated equipment, but completes other duties as assigned.

Tool Technician (Loc: 103 - Plant 3)

Masco Cabinetry, formerly KraftMaid Cabinetry, the world leader in the design and manufacture of kitchen and bath cabinetry currently has an opening for a Tool Technician.

The Tool Technician (TT) is responsible and accountable for insuring that department work centers have the required tooling to remain fully operational. The TT will inspect and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on tooling, as well as, be responsible for ensuring the tooling produces a quality part as delivered. The TT will also be responsible for moving cutter(s) to required location(s), as well as maintaining accurate tool inventory.

The TT is accountable for aiding in department metric performance and goal attainment as defined by the tool Room MOS. These metrics are primarily associated with one or more of the following categories: safety and environmental performance, tool and tool room equipment preventative maintenance and repair planning as well as the ability to reach unplanned downtime associated with tooling, tool quality, schedule attainment, tool availability, inventory management, labor management and continuous improvement. In addition, the TT is expected to comply with established standard work instructions, training plans, layered process audit and controlled documentation processes.

The TT is expected to work cooperatively with their counterparts on alternate shifts and departments to ensure the overall success for the department and plant. As an example to others, the TT is expected to carry out his/her responsibilities in a professional manner and in accordance and compliance with all Masco Cabinetry policies, procedures and practices.
