   <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;We are currently seeking RNs who are able to work either/both In-Patient Units in Dayton and Franklin.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Hospice of Dayton cares for terminally-ill patients in their personal homes, patients residing in facilities such as Nursing Homes and in our In-Patient Units. We have a 51-bed In-Patient Unit in Dayton on Wilmington Avenue and a 14-bed In-Patient Unit serving Butler &amp;amp; Warren Counties in the Franklin/Middletown area. We serve patients and families in an 8 county service area including Montgomery, Clark, Greene, Miami, Preble, Clinton, Butler and Warren counties.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;PRN Registered Nurses must be flexible, adaptable and have a strong clinical background in pain and symptom management.    <title><![CDATA[Registered Nurse - PRN (Homecare) (Dayton)]]></title>
   <description>&lt;p&gt;Current PRN openings are for Coming Home, our homecare team.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Hospice of Dayton cares for terminally-ill patients in their personal homes, patients residing in facilities such as Nursing Homes and in our In-Patient Units. We have a 51-bed In-Patient Unit in Dayton on Wilmington Avenue and a 14-bed In-Patient Unit serving Butler &amp;amp; Warren Counties in the Franklin/Middletown area. We serve patients and families in an 8 county service area including Montgomery, Clark, Greene, Miami, Preble, Clinton, Butler and Warren counties.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;PRN Registered Nurses must be flexible, adaptable and have a strong clinical background in pain and symptom management. There is a need for an effective communicator, someone who is able to be aware of and responsive to the patient and family&apos;s needs and concerns. As response-time is a critical component of&amp;nbsp;our care, a&amp;nbsp;faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;Technical Skills used&amp;nbsp;(will provide training during orientation):&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Infusion therapy skills - PICC line, peripheral IV, venous access port, central catheter&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;CADD-Prizm ambulatory infusion pump&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;CoaguChek XS&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Subcutaneous medication administration&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Blood draws from central lines&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Central line dressing changes&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;Compensation:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;$26 per hour, mileage reimbursement .48 cents per mile.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
