Share Email Opening Title EVS Manager  Description SUMMARY Ensures that the casino facility and ground’s cleanliness and sanitation are maintained at the highest level possible.  Manages, directs and develops staff; prepares and conducts performance reviews.  Develops cleaning schedules and processes for all areas. Must present a positive image in the casino and community.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES Performs management functions such as hiring, training, evaluating and providing feedback to supervisors and staff; provide direction and guidance for the department. Ensures compliance with all safety standards and codes. Maintains an efficient method to ensure adequate supplies of cleaning solutions and supplies are available and all cleaning and grounds equipment is kept in good operating condition. Ensures that the highest level of building and grounds appearance is met by continually conducting inspections of all areas of the casino property (building and grounds) and correcting any deficiencies. Assigns staff in conjunction with maintenance staff to help with set-up and tear down of casino events/promotions. Works with vendors who provide sanitation services, cleaning products, nurseries and/or grounds keeping companies who are contracted to provide services to ensure that they meet the terms of the contracts and that the services are cost-effective. Responds to cleaning or grounds keeping requests from other departments. Investigates and keeps informed of new cleaning products and equipment to continually increase the effectiveness of keeping the property clean orderly and attractive. Provides leadership and develops a high performing team. Performs additional duties as necessary.   Position Requirements EDUCATION High School Diploma or equivalent is required.   EXPERIENCE Environment typically is a Class II or III Casino experience preferred.   Gaming License   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Number of Openings   Req Number EVS-12-00001   This position is currently not accepting applications.
