POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Crop Protection Business Manager will manage the supply, sales and services offered by United Farmers Cooperative and will serve as an integral part of the UFC Agronomy Leadership Team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directs and coordinates staff to accomplish the objectives of the Agronomy Department and UFC.
- Applies sound business principles in the management of the facility.
- Communicates the strategic direction and needs of the company to vendors, the industry, employees and customers.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of CPP.
- Creates an efficient organizational structure with the help of appropriate Team Managers when working with CPP pricing.
- Works with Location Managers for establishing appropriate product and inventory control at location.
- Complies with all laws and regulations.
- Assures that employees understand company-wide and department objectives.
- Sets priorities and delegates authority for effective accomplishment of these goals and objectives as it pertains to CPP.
