PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION:
Assisting the Parts and Service Managers in processing the paperwork of these departments.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Works with parts department making sure parts used for repairs are accurately listed and billed on work orders.
- Assists the Service Manager with invoicing, ensuring repairs are billed timely and accurately.
- Types job stories that support invoice amounts.
- Assists the Service Manager in scheduling service technician training.
- Coordinates with the Sales Team in scheduling equipment predelivery and reconditioning.
- Understands and complies with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures across all product lines.
- Files warranty claims in a timely manner, tracks status of claims, appeals, and rejections.
- Assists parts department as needed.
- Complies with all laws and regulations that apply to the department.
