Mounts, dismount, repair, inflate and service tires of all sizes. This includes auto, truck, farm tractor and implement tires. This job is labor intensive. The work varies between in-shop service work and off-site service calls, providing variety during the work day. A class B CDL is desired, due to the need to perform off-site service calls and after hours on-call rotation, candidates should have a clean driving record Sells all types of tires. Monitors tire inventories and recommends orders as necessary to the Service Manager. Responsible for keeping warehouse clean and orderly. Responsible for the maintenance and appearance of the tire service truck and its equipment. Keeps Service Manager informed of competitive prices. Keeps current on latest product information and is able to recommend proper application of all products sold. Adheres to, and enforces, company credit policy. Complies with company safety program. Resolves customer complaints quickly and fairly in accordance with company policies. Refers unusual situations to Service Manager. Attends appropriate training sessions as part of programs of continuing education. Maintains required logs, daily truck inspections and other required documentation.
